胡芦巴对小鼠降血糖作用的实验研究

摘要： 目的研究胡芦巴水提取物对正常小鼠和糖尿病小鼠血糖和糖耐量影响,探讨其降低动物血糖的作用机制。方法正常ICR小鼠口服给药,测定空腹血糖和糖耐量;四氧嘧啶致糖尿病ICR小鼠模型口服给药,测定空腹血糖及糖耐量。结果胡芦巴水提取物对正常小鼠无降血糖作用,但可使糖耐量曲线趋于平缓;胡芦巴水提取物能够降低实验性糖尿病小鼠的血糖。结论胡芦巴水提取物具有一定的降血糖作用。

Abstract: ObjectiveTo study the effects of aqueous extract of Trigonella foenum-graecum(AET) on the blood glucose in normal and alloxan(ALX)-diabetic mice.MethodsFasting blood glucose and glucose tolerance in normal and ALX-diabetic mice were measured respectively 7 days after AET had been given.ResultsAET had not significantly effected the fasting blood glucose of normal mice, but improved their glucose toleranc. Otherwise, AET reduced fasting blood glouse of diabetic mice induced by ALX significantly.ConclusionAET can be used on treatment of diabetes mellitus.
